This is an open access opportunity - no audition is necessary to join the Intermediate level of our Pre-Professionals Training Programme. So, no excuses, no barriers to joining and there are no limitations on where this training could lead for you.
We only start the NPA Pre-Professional Training from Year 7, so very often you may have attended a junior stage school prior to exploring your options at a senior level. Don't be worried about making the change over to our professional centre and school of performing arts. You know what you are wanting for your future, you know you have passion and talent. So, where do you see yourself being able to be recognised and achieving your full potential?
This isn't a pop-up franchise or a school-hall-hire weekly class situation - this is Northern Performance Academy, a professional training centre for those who want to take their skills and talents seriously. Although we have to tell you - it's also ridiculous amounts of fun and the friendships often last a lifetime!

WHAT WILL I TRAIN IN?

You can choose to specialise as an Actor/ Director or as a Musical Theatre Performer. You will immerse yourself in your weekly workshops that give you plenty of chances to step into the spotlight and hone your skills for the stage & screen. As a student at NPA, you will take part in a rich and varied curriculum that gives you a broad range of experiences in so many aspects of the industry.

You will grow in self-confidence, resilience and communication skills too. We train you to be a creative person, so you may find our weekly classes have a positive impact on your school/college life, as well as your personal sense of identity and self-belief in your abilities.

Pre-Professionals Advanced Training Company is a 2-hour weekly training that is industry-relevant, intensive and super inspirational. To get into this Training Company you need to prepare an audition, which we will happily help you all the way with. Let's take your performance skills to the top level within the NPA pre-professional weekly extra-curricular training programme. This is the stepping stone in to the industry. The Elite Company will give you so many brilliant skills for success in life - presentation skills for university interviews, communication skills for strong leadership - as well as prepare you fully, should you wish to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
This training company relishes a challenge, they all audition for one of the limited places on this course and therefore they all are committed, work hard and the repertoire is mature and ambitious. ELITE training company really push themselves to stand out and produce outstanding work together.
